Phnom Penh: The project to build a pedestrian flyover in Pursat province will start ground breaking in December 2020 to facilitate people’s travel. This is according to the governor of Pursat province, Mr. Mao Thunin.
Pursat Provincial Governor Mao Thunin said during a site inspection and accelerated construction of the “Pursat Park” that the pedestrian flyover crosses National Road 5 at the Pursat Provincial Museum and will begin operations during the month. This coming December 2020. The pedestrian flyover was built to facilitate the movement of pedestrians across the center of the road.
He said that after Pursat province was hit by floods and the effects of the Covid 19 crisis, it is time for Cambodia to continue to work together to develop the province to be more prosperous and beautiful.
In addition to the construction of the bridge, Pursat province will also organize Pursat Park, the former 14 January Park, which will greatly contribute to the promotion of the beauty and image of Pursat province. In 2021, the Pursat provincial administration also plans to set up a bank and park on the east side.
Pursat province also plans to improve the beauty of the city to be attractive and beautiful by lighting the main streets in public places in Pursat, as well as additional projects around planting trees on both sides of the city.
