Phnom Penh: The Royal Government of Cambodia, through the Ministry of Tourism, has decided to waive the renewal fee for all types of tourism business licenses for 2021 to alleviate the burden on tourism businesses affected by the outbreak of Covid-19 disease.
In a statement issued by the Ministry of Tourism, obtained by Property Area Asia on the afternoon of December 9, 2020, it was stated that in order to help maintain the balance of business and the lives of workers in the tourism sector, the Royal Government has decided to waive fees. Renew all tourism licenses in the tourism sector for 2021, which will be implemented from January 1, 2021 to December 31, 2021.
The Ministry of Tourism has stated that tour operators are still obliged to apply for renewal of tourism licenses for 2021, and the application for all new tourism licenses and the implementation of monetary transition rules for expired tourism licenses must be maintained in accordance with the inter-ministerial proclamation.
